The European Union passed legislation in 2021 to establish the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), which requires that from October 2023, all products exported to the EU must have their carbon emissions declared by importers, and corresponding certificates must be obtained for the products to enter the EU. On the other hand, the United States' Clean Competition Act (CCA) plans to impose carbon tariffs on domestic manufacturers and importers starting in 2024, leading many to believe that the globalization of carbon tariffs has become a trend.

The second Carbon Credits, Carbon Border Tax and Carbon Trading Forum, building on the experience of the previous meeting, invited experts from various industries and relevant government agencies to conduct in-depth analysis and discussions, guiding businesses to gain a deeper understanding of issues such as carbon credits, carbon tariffs, and carbon trading.
