🌏【2025 8th GCSF Global Corporate Sustainability Forum - 4th Carbon Fee, Carbon Credit, and Carbon Tariff Forum】
Building a Net-Zero Future, Starting with "Carbon," Starting with You and Me!

In 2025, Taiwan enters a critical action phase for its net-zero transition. The carbon fee system officially launched this year, with collection and management mechanisms being gradually implemented. It coordinates with two major complementary measures, "voluntary reduction" and "carbon fee offsets," to drive corporations to actively promote carbon reduction actions. Meanwhile, the competent authority plans to pilot a cap-and-trade and carbon trading system in 2026, with the expectation of establishing a dual-track framework of carbon fees and emissions trading by 2027.

Against the backdrop of intensifying extreme climate events, severe global warming challenges, and increasing pressure on industries for net-zero transition, Taiwan must closely follow the latest international policy and technological developments. How to guide enterprises to effectively integrate product carbon footprints and carbon emissions data under the promotion of carbon fees, carbon credits, and foundational carbon reduction initiatives will be a major challenge we face together.

This forum once again brings together elites from industry, government, and academia to discuss the urgent plans for Taiwan's net-zero transition and work hand-in-hand toward a sustainable future.
